Beyond the Times Foreseen presents a humorous concept of the 1950's ideal marriage, and reveals how the failure of that ideal marriage affected some of the baby-boomer generation through child abuse. The tape begins with a series of questions outlined in a marriage counseling book that is illustrated with children's toys. This camp presentation is then contrasted with a box of trouble dolls and a series of slides designed to educate doctors to identify child abuse cases.
