Joyride is inspired by the way that culture is presented in theme parks and
museums. Millions of thrill-seekers are herded through a mental maze, toward a
reshaped history and a sketchy future. Here object and environment become one.
A souvenir is purchased and relocated in the home. It is used to unlock the
crowded and carbon monoxide filled corridor to the transcendental.
