If I Were You explodes the theatrical traditions of classic French melodrama and English farce to create an urbane comedy of information revolving around a constant stream of mistaken identities and ulterior motives. The lines between virtual and actual blur as video monitors interrupt scenes, caution against sympathy, or propose absurd advice. What happened depends on who you ask, where you were, and why you want to know.
3-Legged Dog is a multi-media theater group founded by Kevin Cunningham, Mike Taylor, and Jill Szuchmacher to explore the new narrative possibilities created by technology.

"Like its inspiration, A Harlots Progress is striking, timely and admirable art." Lawrence Van Gelder, The New York Times
A ribald spoof of society#39;s cruelty and folly played on an over-sized puppet stage with puppets, singers, and video and slide projections. A Harlot's Progress ingeniously brings to life William HogarthÕs timeless storyÑthe rise and fall of Moll Hackabout who escapes poverty to be seduced into prostitution. Packed with characters caught in acts of hilarious hypocrisy or misdeed, HogarthÕs raw and gritty 18th-century London landscape draws striking parallels with todayÕs New York.
